SENIOR FRONTEND ENGINEER (REACT/NODE, AI-DRIVEN WEB APPLICATIONS):

On behalf of our Accounting client, Procom is searching for a Senior Frontend Engineer (React/Node, AI-Driven Web Applications) for an 11 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SENIOR FRONTEND ENGINEER (REACT/NODE, AI-DRIVEN WEB APPLICATIONS) - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The team is focused on developing critical services that power new AI-native web apps and plugins registries, runtime, and rendering. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact the transformation into an AI-driven expert platform.

SENIOR FRONTEND ENGINEER (REACT/NODE, AI-DRIVEN WEB APPLICATIONS) - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• 5+ years of overall frontend experience - we use Node/React.
• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience building and operating large-scale, consumer-facing web applications and services.
• Proficiency in server-side technologies, cloud technologies, web development, and the desire to work in a multi-disciplinary team operating in a DevOps model.
• Experience in Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies.

SENIOR FRONTEND ENGINEER (REACT/NODE, AI-DRIVEN WEB APPLICATIONS) – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Expertise in service design, discovery, and runtime orchestration systems.
• Experience building and operating high traffic services & APIs.
• Familiarity with React best practices.

• Drive large-scale projects to completion, from inception to production.
• Interface directly with stakeholders to ensure effective delivery.
• Collaborate with other team members and foster a culture of growth.
• Operate in a fast-moving environment, make quick decisions, and execute fiercely to deliver outcomes.
• Take passion in going deep into critical issues and apply the learnings back into the product and team, whether technical or procedural.
• Demonstrate deep empathy for and staunch advocacy for the customer.
