Our culture revolves around fostering growth, nurturing learning, and upholding excellence in engineering, ensuring we consistently set the benchmark for engineering mastery. About the team Be part of a newly established Frontend Platform team with the opportunity to define how the entire frontend ecosystem on a global scale product is built, scaled, and maintained. Your work will set the standards and foundations for hundreds of engineers across the company. This team owns the developer tooling, monorepo infrastructure, build systems, and internal libraries that power our products. Our mission is to make frontend development faster, more reliable, and more enjoyable, while enabling our product squads to scale confidently. You’ll work with SvelteKit, Turborepo, PNPM workspaces, and modern CI/CD practices to build tools and infrastructure that have broad impact across the company. If you’re passionate about frontend engineering and developer experience, this is the team for you. Key Responsibilities: Scale Frontend Tooling: Maintain and improve our monorepo setup (Turborepo + PNPM). Ensure our build processes remain fast and scalable. CI/CD for Frontend: Own and optimise GitHub Actions workflows and Vite build pipelines to enable fast, reliable deployments. Developer Experience: Build and maintain internal libraries, utilities, and documentation that make development efficient and consistent. Hands-On Engineering: Write clean, scalable TypeScript/JavaScript code and contribute to shared libraries and platform tools. Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with engineers across squads to understand their needs and improve tooling that accelerates their work. Mentorship & Code Quality: Contribute to a culture of excellence through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring other engineers. Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of frontend engineering experience. Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (Svelte, React, or similar). Proven experience working with monorepos (Turborepo, PNPM, Nx, or similar). Hands-on experience with frontend CI/CD (GitHub Actions, build/test pipelines, Vite/Webpack/Rollup). Strong understanding of frontend performance and scalability. Experience maintaining frontend libraries (OSS or internal). Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Contributions to OSS or prior ownership of internal tooling/libraries. Experience with SSR frameworks (SvelteKit, Next.js). Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools for frontend (Vitest, Playwright, Jest, etc). A passion for developer experience and frontend craft. Some of the perks of joining us: Championing scalable best practices to ensure a seamless frontend developer experience across a global scale software product.
