Description

TRACKUNIT IS LOOKING FOR AN ENGAGED SENIOR FRONTEND SOFTWARE ENGINEER TO JOIN OUR ENGINEERING TEAM.

As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you will join our team of 200+ engineers where you’ll be working alongside a core group of qualified colleagues to innovate and build robust solutions, and Frontend community where you can share knowledge with other skilled Frontend Software engineers. You will be an integral part in the continuous development of our practical products used by 10,000+ active users every day, and 1,25M+ IoT devices.
At Trackunit, we focus on continuous integration and deployment practices and you will be delving into different projects and always be on the lookout for new innovative ways to approach tasks using the latest tools and great technologies. You will get the chance to work with one of the most advanced and efficient IoT devices on the market through close collaboration with customers and key stakeholders.
With locations in the hearts of Copenhagen, Aarhus, Kolding, and Aalborg, we offer you a flexible setup with the possibility to work from any of our hubs or remotely from anywhere in Denmark.

WHO ARE YOU IN AN IDEAL SCENARIO?

  • You have software development knowledge and understand the different software development lifecycle stages.
  • You know your way around the JavaScript language, and you follow technologies and trends for latest updates. You might be familiar with TypeScript, React, NodeJs, Nx, and GraphQL.
  • You put an effort into automated tests to ensure we can evolve and adapt our codebase and maintain continuous deployment.
  • You have effective communication skills and a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • You are able to clearly articulate complex problems and solutions.
  • You are an advocate for well-written code and you see value in peer code review.
  • You attempt to go new ways to solve technical problems and take ownership.
  • You have technical understanding of UI and UX.
Don’t meet every single requirement? No worries - this is what we’re looking for ideally, but if you’re super excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align completely with every qualification, we still encourage you to apply.

OVERVIEW OF THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Don’t waste your time on writing a strong cover letter for the job. We want you to create an impact that matters, and that’s not in the cover letter.

  • Meet and greet - likely on a virtual video call. Here you will meet the hiring manager and other relevant colleagues, and we’re looking forward to it!
  • Personality-based interview. You will be asked to fill out an online personality assessment (we use Hogan) prior to the interview. In the interview, you will first of all get feedback, but the aim is just as well to have a dialogue about what you thrive in, what we offer etc.
  • Assignment specific interview. Based on the learnings from the process you will be given a case to prepare. You will present the case to the hiring manager and other relevant colleagues.
  • Offer presentation and walk through. We’re delighted and lucky to have you!
