Senior Full Stack Developer is reponsible to design, develop, and maintain institutional digital platforms, research information systems, and university academic portfolios. The role involves building scalable web solutions, managing data-driven systems, and supporting institutional reporting platforms such as global university rankings, research lifecycle systems, and academic information portals. The developer will work closely with academic departments, research offices, institutional research teams, and IT services to ensure the university’s digital infrastructure supports transparency, data accuracy, and user-friendly access to institutional information. Key Responsibilities Web Application Development * Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications supporting university operations. * Build responsive and accessible user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks. * Develop robust backend services, APIs, and database systems. * Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance. * Integrate internal systems with external services and APIs. Institutional Web Platforms Develop and maintain systems including: * Institutional Repository for academic publications and research outputs. * Academic Information Webpage providing program, faculty, and curriculum data. * Sustainability Webpage showcasing sustainability metrics, SDG initiatives, and institutional environmental impact. * Global Rankings Data Portals including: * QS Rankings Webpage * THE Rankings Webpage * Internship and Career Development Portal * Alumni Engagement Platform * Employer Reputation and Industry Partnership Portal * Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Reporting Webpages * University Digital Portfolio System * Research Lifecycle Management System * Grant submission * Project tracking * Publication management * Research reporting * Development and maintenance of other university applications and internal systems. Data Integration & Management * Design and maintain relational and NoSQL databases. * Ensure data accuracy for institutional reporting and global rankings submissions. System Maintenance & Optimization * Monitor system performance and implement improvements. * Maintain documentation for systems, APIs, and workflows. * Ensure uptime, security, and regular system updates. * Troubleshoot technical issues across applications. Compliance & Security * Ensure systems comply with institutional data policies and international standards. * Implement best practices for: * Web security * Data protection * Access control * Backup and recovery.
