As a Fullstack Developer/Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in a major re-platforming project, developing high-impact, user-facing features, and setting up the AWS DevOps environment. Your responsibilities include working collaboratively with internal and external end-users to deliver a beautiful, productive, and high-quality solution to the market.
Here’s an overview of your future role:
Employment Type: Project-based (Consulting engagement for 6 to 9 months)
Shift: AU day shift schedule (7 or 6 am PH time)
Work Setup: Permanent WFH

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

• 5+ years of experience in delivering commercial software, including mentoring and/or leading other developers.
• Proficiency in best practice engineering methodologies for software design, development, and testing.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, achieve specified outcomes with minimum supervision, and work effectively both individually and as a team member.
• Strong communication skills in written and verbal English.
• We are seeking individuals with a combination of the following skills for two separate hires: those with a stronger background in JavaScript, even if they lack expertise in AWS, and those with expertise in AWS, even if they have a weaker background in JavaScript.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive the implementation and prioritization of major features.
• Champion best practices for writing well-tested, well-designed, and well-organized code.
• Take on the responsibility of creating, maintaining, and delivering support for the software platform in your new role.
• Regularly interact with stakeholders and both internal and external end users. Collaborate and pair with your team members to address challenges as we build our software capabilities.
• Maintain existing software features, resolve defects, conduct testing, and deploy software. Participate in architecture and design, as well as development, testing, and documentation. Provide technical and code quality oversight for your peers’ work.
