JOB DESCRIPTION

Work in a dynamic environment supporting the United States Space Force as part of a team dedicated to enhancing the delivery of remote sensing data and other analytics capabilities to space operators. As a part of this team, you will help support critical missions and needs of the unified combatant commands.
This is a full-time position located in Colorado Springs, Colorado with the potential for hybrid work. As a senior full stack developer, you will be responsible for development of both front- and back-end systems as part of an Agile software development team.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Mastery in TypeScript (TS) and JavaScript (JS)
• Experience building JS web-based interfaces
• Deep experience with Express.js building RESTful APIs with Node.js
• Experience deploying to productionJS/TS projects using React.js, and Node
• Advance knowledge of databases and data architecture; both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
• Familiarity with Material UI
• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, including API development and integration, data modeling, etc.
• Knowledge and experience implementing API security and authentication, including OAuth
• Deep understanding and competency with: git, cloud environments, test automation, deployment infrastructure, system architecture, and design patterns (e.g. MVC, MVVM, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience leading development efforts from the ground up
• Demonstrable experience architecting full stack solutions, considering customer needs and future demands
• Experience working with DAF accredited IaaS systems

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• At least six (6) years of professional full-stack experience
• A combination of education and professional experience can be considered
