POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Developer to join the MLITSD OER team. The successful candidate will work closely with IT professionals, business analysts, and stakeholders to design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure applications. The role will involve both front-end and back-end development, with an emphasis on Microsoft/Azure-based technologies, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and enterprise-level application delivery.

• Microservices architecture and container-based development.
• Azure Cloud Development (PaaS, Azure SQL).
• JSON, authentication protocols (OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0).
• Unit testing frameworks (NUnit, XUnit, MSTest) and JS test tools (Karma, Jasmine).
• Integration with third-party APIs (Charts.js, Google Maps API).
• Experience with Azure DevOps (VSTS/TFS) for project and release management.

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Collaborate with Agile delivery teams to implement user stories, resolve issues, and continuously improve development processes.
• Design and implement solution architecture ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Develop and integrate front-end UIs with REST APIs and backend services.
• Build and maintain responsive web applications using Blazor, Razor, Angular, and related technologies.
• Develop and maintain databases including Azure SQL, ensuring optimal data integrity and performance.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment.
• Apply unit testing and automation frameworks to ensure quality deliverables.
• Provide clear and concise system documentation as required.
• Ensure compliance with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards.
