About the Role: We are seeking a highly capable Senior Full Stack Engineer – Cross Collaborative AI Platform to take our proprietary internal AI platform from MVP to a scalable, production-grade solution serving 500+ users. Reporting directly to the AI Lead (Product Owner), this is a hands-on, individual contributor role with full ownership of engineering delivery. You will design, build, and scale a unified AI workspace that supports commercial, R&D, and engineering teams—replacing fragmented processes with a single, always-on digital intelligence layer. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of applied AI within an advanced manufacturing environment, owning the platform end-to-end across infrastructure, backend, frontend, security, and deployment. Role Responsibilities: Deliver against a fully specified solution plan, working autonomously and progressing build phases independently Provision and manage Azure PaaS cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, search, serverless functions, static hosting) using Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates Develop secure backend services and API layers using Node.js or Python, including data persistence and audit logging structures Extend and enhance the existing React 18 / TypeScript / Vite frontend without rewriting the codebase Implement enterprise authentication using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), MSAL.js, and OAuth 2.0 / OIDC flows with role-based access control Design and integrate agentic AI workflows, orchestrating multiple AI agents with distinct knowledge sources and behaviours Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, including telemetry, monitoring, and structured logging Implement scalable architecture including load balancing, traffic management, and horizontal scaling Ensure platform reliability, security, and performance in a multi-user environment Proactively identify risks and propose improvements to architecture and implementation approaches What you'll need: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field Minimum 3+ years’ experience building and deploying full stack applications Proven experience delivering a product from prototype to production at scale Strong expertise in Azure cloud services and infrastructure-as-code tools Backend development experience (Node.js or Python) with API design and data architecture Frontend development experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frameworks Strong understanding of enterprise authentication, security, and identity management Experience working with databases (SQL, MongoDB, or similar) and designing data systems Familiarity with AI platforms, LLM APIs, or multi-agent AI systems Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD, monitoring, and logging Progression to next stage is subject to passing required screening questions !
