Diverse tasks

They develop, operate, and modernize business-critical software solutions for EnBW's energy trading processes, with an initial focus on gas nominations.
Throughout the entire software lifecycle, you design modern applications from frontend and backend to APIs, integrations and databases, all the way to cloud components.
With Angular, TypeScript, Java and Python, you can develop new features and continuously optimize existing applications.
You actively drive the gradual modernization of existing systems, thereby improving code quality, maintainability, and technical architecture.
Automated tests, modern CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation ensure high software quality and efficient development processes.
Deploy AWS services, containerized workloads, and serverless architectures where they offer the greatest added value to the solution.
Using Datadog and other observability tools, you can analyze the behavior of applications and increase their stability and reliability in operation.
Together with product owners, traders and specialist departments, you will develop practical solutions, identify potential for improvement and take responsibility for the long-term success of the services.

Convincing profile

They have several years of experience in software development and are comfortable in complex, business-critical environments.
You can confidently develop modern web applications across the entire stack – from frontend and backend to APIs, integrations and databases.
Angular, React or Vue, as well as Java and/or Python, are among the technologies you have already worked with successfully.
Cloud technologies, automated tests, CI/CD pipelines and modern development processes are a matter of course for you.
You make pragmatic architectural and technology decisions with a focus on sustainable, user-oriented solutions.
Knowledge of AWS, event-driven architectures, observability tools, or the modernization of existing systems is a plus, but not a requirement.
You have excellent English skills; experience in energy trading or other business-critical industries is an advantage.
