WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?

Must have:

  • Proven industry experience building fast, reliable, and real-time web applications.
  • Product-minded: Passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Ability to think from first principles, evaluate trade-offs between technical solutions, and make pragmatic technical decisions.
  • High learning agility - you’re excited when you encounter a problem you haven’t seen before.
  • Strong communication skills that illustrate a clear, structured thought process.

Should have:

  • Comfortable thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment.
  • Knowledgeable about modern web technologies and a strong appetite for learning new ones (e.g., Node.js, React, Redux, TypeScript)
  • Familiarity with the architectural patterns of large-scale web applications.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with AI technologies (e.g., LLMs, Vector Databases, etc.).
  • Rigor in A/B testing, test coverage, and modern web best practices.
  • Familiarity with managing complex data models at scale.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to build and enhance product features.
  • Develop in a JavaScript environment, with a strong focus on TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
  • Contribute to the deployment of AI-powered features for our users (e.g., AI Tagging, AI Answers, etc.) See examples
  • Develop features end-to-end. At times, this would be with minimal or no cross-functional involvement.
