IDEXX Veterinary Software is on a mission to offer the first vertical SaaS platform for Animal Health . We’re growing our engineering tribes to tackle a range of chall enges . In this phase we ’re expand ing our Clinical , Practice Management & Client Engagement domain tribes. T he goal is to build additional squads for each and provide much needed capacity to tackle more on our technical roadmap faster , unify ing our portfolio of cloud platforms and applications.
W e’re seeking skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer s to join our Auckland R&D hub. You could be a driving force within several new squads , tackl e challenges with all touch points of elect ronic clinic al record s, focus on efficient practice management workflow or turn your hand to all things that enhance our client’s engagement with their customers the pet parent.
Your primary goal is to lead by example—whether as an engineer, architect, or advocate for quality assurance. Your senior expertise in any of these areas will allow you to provide guidance and mentorship that empowers the squad.
We work with modern web technologies, including TypeScript, Go, and cloud-native architectures, to develop robust and maintainable solutions. With a strong focus on DevOps and automation, you’ll contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and system reliability. Lead from the front, demonstrating your experience by hands on delivering features, showcasing engineering and architectural best practices.
Inspire a culture of accountability and end-to-end ownership of the squad’s product/feature/vision.
Contribute to the definition and evolution of IDEXX’s engineering values, principles, practices, standards and behaviours across all squads.
In collaboration with your team and Product and Practice Leads, ensure engineering squads deliver:
Fit-for-purpose solutions.
Prioritise pragmatic technical improvements (such as repair, debt recovery, and refactoring).
