ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a purpose-driven Full Stack Engineer to work on a critical project on our Propelix team. You’ll be working on a cutting edge generative AI product within a successful and established company that is already profitable, and have access to internal users and industry experts that give us a unique edge and perspective in the fast growing market of AI agents.
Propelix is to Jerry what AWS is to Amazon: a core technology so powerful that we’re making it available to other companies. Like Gmail, Slack, and AWS, Propelix was born as a project within a larger company that had a real need: using generative AI to scale up customer support to handle our rapidly growing insurance business.
Our platform orchestrates LLMs, voice models, and internal systems to allow regulated businesses to create great customer experiences with AI over voice and chat. We provide essential tools for prompt development like templating, versioning, testing, experimentation, knowledge base management, and more, empowering companies to constantly iterate and improve on their AI agents with confidence. We are heavy users of the product internally, and have customers live and in production.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an early team with traction as we build and expand a product on the bleeding edge of real world generative AI solutions.

How you will make an impact

• Architect and implement solutions for a feature-rich platform that makes prompt engineering accessible
• Deploy real world AI agents that handle complex customer and employee interactions
• Onboard and integrate major insurance customers onto the platform
• Plug in to the latest and greatest in generative AI - we are constantly testing new models, agent architectures, and more

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• Knowledge of multiple programming languages (we primarily use JavaScript, React, Node.js - knowledge of these in particular not required)
• You’re an excellent problem solver and don’t need to be told exactly what to do
• Comfortable interfacing with clients
• You are known for shipping products and features lightning-fast
• Ability to pick up on new technologies very quickly
• Startup experience at a high-growth company (nice to have)
