Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AT MEDIALAB

MediaLab Engineering supports a growing number of applications across multiple business verticals under the MediaLab umbrella. For this particular position, we work in Typescript and Golang, and will prefer prior experience in either.
You will be responsible for working on both the Frontend of our Moderation Panel and the backend services that support our brands trust and safety efforts as well as supporting their integration efforts into our system. We’re looking for proactive engineers with real technical depth and a desire to understand the entire business. We want people who are passionate and care deeply about the success of the whole company.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work collaboratively with product, design, and other engineering teams to implement new features and transform existing products
  • Build stable, extensible, and testable code
  • Participate in design and code reviews
  • Help improve detection of inappropriate content across all our brands to enhance user and community safety
  • Design, maintain and scale new and existing microservices efficiently
  • Work with Next.js and TypeScript for our frontend applications and Golang for our microservices infrastructure
