Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across the full stack. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define technical requirements and deliver solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and growth. Participate in architectural discussions and make recommendations for new technologies and improvements. Ensure the performance, security, and responsiveness of applications. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to improve functionality and user experience. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in full stack software development. Strong experience with Next.js, React, TypeScript Experience building RESTful APIs Experience integrating interactive maps (Leaflet / MapLibre or similar) Ability to build data-driven UI (charts, dynamic controls) Experience optimizing performance for data-heavy applications Familiar with geospatial concepts (CRS, raster data, map tiles) Experience working with large or scientific datasets (e.g., NetCDF, GeoTIFF) Exposure to geospatial libraries or data processing tools Champion the use of AI-assisted / agentic coding tools (e.g., Codex, Claude Code, Copilot) to improve team productivity
