Description

SteerBridge Strategies is a CVE-Verified Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) delivering a broad spectrum of professional services to the U.S. Government and private sector. Backed by decades of hands-on experience in federal acquisition and procurement, we provide agile, best-in-class commercial solutions that drive mission success.
Our strength lies in our people—especially the veterans whose leadership, discipline, and dedication shape everything we do. At SteerBridge, we don’t just hire talent—we empower it, creating meaningful career paths for those who have served and those who share our commitment to excellence.
We are seeking a cleared and experienced Full Stack Engineer to join a mission-critical team. This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development using the MERN stack and deploying scalable applications in AWS. You’ll help develop secure, modern software systems that support logistics, operations, and mission-critical intelligence in one of the most advanced defense programs in the world.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
  • Build and integrate secure, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices to support mission systems and logistics applications (e.g., ALIS, ODIN).
  • Leverage AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) to deploy, scale, and maintain cloud-based applications in accordance with DoD policies.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices including containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
  • Collaborate with product owners, systems engineers, cybersecurity analysts, and other developers to meet operational requirements and ensure software resilience.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with DoD cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, NIST 800-53) and secure coding standards.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to technical documentation, user guides, and system diagrams.
A salary commensurate with experience shall be offered.
