We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer to design and deliver modern, scalable, cloud-based applications.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong Java and Spring Boot expertise, commercial React experience, and a proven background in developing and deploying solutions on AWS. You will contribute to technical design, engineering standards, and the mentoring of other developers.




Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Build microservices, REST APIs, and integrations with internal and external systems.
Develop modern user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
Design, deploy, and support secure cloud-native solutions on AWS.
Contribute to architecture and technical-design decisions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Participate in code reviews and Agile delivery activities.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
Troubleshoot production issues and improve system performance and reliability.
Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices.




Essential Experience

Strong commercial Java development experience at senior level.
Expertise in modern Java and Spring Boot.
Experience developing microservices and REST APIs.
Commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
Strong AWS experience, ideally including Lambda, ECS or EKS, API Gateway, RDS, S3, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch.
Experience with SQL, relational databases, and data modelling.
Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, Git, and automated testing.
Strong understanding of software architecture, security, and design patterns.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
