We’re seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (12-month maternity leave cover) to build high-performance, scalable, and accessible applications. You’ll lead architectural decisions, set frontend best practices, mentor team members, and collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to deliver seamless solutions. Comfortable working with AWS, with experience building, deploying, and operating your own code. Strong grasp of UX principles, performance tuning, and component-based architecture. Experience integrating APIs using GraphQL and/or REST, with efficient data-fetching patterns. Skilled at optimizing frontend performance for speed, scalability, and reliability. Proficiency in Golang, including designing and building backend services and implementing CRUD operations with relational or NoSQL databases. Experience building and operating microservices, applying best practices for service boundaries, observability, resiliency, and scalability. Exposure to event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar messaging platforms. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and UX designers to deliver solutions that enhance user experience.
