We are looking for an experienced and talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the DS cloud-based offerings and drive systematic implementation of services and components with best practices.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• Bachelors, Masters or PhD in computer science or related engineering disciplines.

Years and Type of Experience

• Several years of experience as a software engineer.
• History of delivered commercially successful software products.
• Experience with multiple programming languages (such as Golang/C++, Flutter/Dart).
• Experience building successful commercial SaaS and/or PaaS.
• Experience in full stack development is big plus, building (web) multi-tiers applications from front-end to back-end.
• Experience in CI/CD, Containerization (Docker) and Cloud Computing (e.g., GCP, Kubernetes).
• Experience in the field of medical technology and the development of medical devices is an advantage.
• Experience in dealing with cybersecurity requirements in the medical device environment is advantageous.
• Experience in leading technical teams is a plus.

• Write high-quality code adhering to architecture and technical standards.
• Provide technical leadership, identify weaknesses, minimize technical debt, and recommend improvements.

• Conduct thorough code reviews and support the product owner in defining epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure unit and integration tests are in place for all implementations.
• Collaborate with other teams to define APIs and maintain effective communication.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies by reading research papers and attending conferences.
• Mentor and coach fellow software engineers.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
