COMPANY
Founded in Berlin, autarc is a 30 person start-up who have just graduated from the Y Combinator in San Francisco. Our team consists of people in Sales, Tech and Operations, with the Engineering department currently 9 people and looking to grow to 11 by Q2 2025.
REQUIREMENTS
ABOUT US
Right now, 25% of CO2 emissions in Europe are caused by heating our buildings. In order for this to be reduced, the transition towards renewable energy needs to be simplified and made more accessible. There are too few installers to meet the growing demand for heat pumps, and a solution to match this trend needs to be brought to the market.
autarc is developing the leading operating system (OS) for heat pump installers, enabling a more digital and efficient installation process for heat pumps.
Through this, autarc is reducing the hurdles to decarbonizing single-family homes and small apartment buildings in Europe, with the goal to help with the planning and designing of 1 million heat pumps by 2030
You will be working alongside the CTO other Engineers to help design and improve the core product, with a specific focus on integrations and service features. As we have two squads building out the Heat Pump and Solar products, we need to work on things such billing, invoicing and 3rd party integrations to make sure our OS is more complete.
This work will consist of building UI links and widgets, mapping out data and correlating systems so that they work seamlessly. Additionally, we want to allow users to import and export 3D scans and renders, as an example of what impact these integrations will have.
As a Senior within the team, you will be responsible for leading Engineering initiatives and be in charge of some heavy lifting, as the CTO moves away from coding and into working on more strategy related tasks.
Other responsibilities will include:
The role is Fullstack, with a 60/40 split between Frontend & Backend.
