Description We’re looking for a Senior Engineer to join our growing team in Vietnam and play a critical role in shaping the architecture, technical strategy, and engineering culture across internal and client facing projects. You’ll work hands-on with a cross-functional team to solve complex technical problems, and help ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable digital products. This is a role for someone who is proactive and happy to take the lead when needed — combining deep technical expertise with strong communication and decision-making skills. You’ll be involved from concept to deployment, helping teams choose the right tools, build robust solutions, and deliver real business impact. What You’ll Do Play an early and key role in the development of scalable, secure, and maintainable software Play a key role in technical decision-making, trade-offs, and problem-solving Work closely with product owners to ensure solutions meet business needs Contribute to strategic planning around tooling, technology choices, and platform direction Perform technical reviews and provide input on system design, integration, and performance Advocate for engineering best practices, clean code, testing, observability, and performance Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose relevant improvements 6+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in full-stack or frontend/backend systems Experience with modern frontend ecosystems (React, Vue, Next.js etc.) and/or backend stacks (Node.js) Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring tools Strong coding ability in at least one major language or framework (JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, etc.) Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; able to break down complex challenges A strong communicator with good English who can translate technical detail into clear plans and decisions Experience working in collaborative product and delivery teams Nice to Have Experience working with open source software Experience mentoring other engineers across, fostering growth and shared standards Previous experience in eCommerce, retail, or large-scale customer-facing platform About Mindera At Mindera we use technology to build products we are proud of, with people we love.
