This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud-based automation solutions for power systems engineering. Accountabilities As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, you will: Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-based software solutions for the energy sector. Maintain and enhance existing applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment. Work with technologies such as Python, React, Typescript, Java, Kotlin, Docker, and Kubernetes. Conduct code reviews, implement bug fixes, and optimize performance for high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and business units, to ensure seamless integration of products. Handle large datasets and implement ETL pipelines, including working with AWS Athena, Parquet files, and SQL databases. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to ensure team growth and knowledge sharing. Candidates should have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. Minimum of 5 years of experience developing software or SaaS products. Proficiency in Python and Typescript; experience with Java or Kotlin is a plus. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). Strong knowledge of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures. Experience designing and managing high-volume data processing pipelines and relational databases. Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience mentoring junior developers and contributing to technical best practices. Preferred: Exposure to transmission power systems, power system solvers, or energy sector analytics software.
