Job Description We are looking for a Senior Functional Designer to participate to the functional design and product ownership of future evolutions of our financial audit software solution. The role required a combination of audit expertise, sound knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA), functional design capabilities. The candidate will take ownership of designated product evolutions, managing them end to end from business needs definition and functional specifications through delivery and production rollout. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the product enhancements meet regulatory, operational and user requirements while maintaining high quality and performance standards. Key Responsibilities Own the functional design of assigned product evolutions and act as Product Owner for these scopes Lead the translation of business, audit, and regulatory requirements into clear, structured functional solutions Facilitate and lead functional workshops with Business, Audit Methodology, Compliance and Quality stakeholders at Group and local level Define, well document and maintain functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed design documents• Manage Change Request within the assigned scope, assessing functional impacts, dependencies, user experiences and business value Prioritise functional scopes in alignment with program roadmap, business value and regulatory priorities Ensure functional consistency, usability, user efficiency and audit compliance of the solution Work closely with development teams during build phases to conduct workshops, clarify requirements, handle functional questions and support implementation decisions Collaborate with QA teams on functional testing strategy and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Validate delivered functionality against functional expectations and formally approve readiness for production Support deployment, change management, and user adoption within audit teams Act as a functional reference and subject‑matter expert for the solution within the program Product Ownership Scope Ownership of functional backlog for assigned product evolutions Definition of business value, functional priorities, and success criteria Continuous interaction with Business stakeholders to refine needs and manage changes Contribution to overall product vision and long‑term roadmap Working Environment International and multicultural environment Agile / iterative development framework International team of approximately 25 internal people working with dedicated external partners Close collaboration with audit professionals across multiple countries Qualifications Required Skills and Experience Senior‑level experience as a Functional Designer, Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role Strong background in financial audit, audit methodology, or audit software Experience in large international organizations, ideally within Big4 firms (EY, PwC, Deloitte, KPMG) Proven ability to formalize complex business processes into functional specifications Experience working end‑to‑end with software development and testing teams Strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills in an international context Preferred Qualifications Qualified auditor (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) with a strong understanding of professional audit standards Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and software developments Exposure to global audit quality and regulatory environments Key Success Indicators (KPIs) Timely delivery on high-quality, clear and complete functional specifications Alignment of delivered features with business needs and audit methodology expectations Adoption and effective usage of new features by audit teams Reduction of rework or functional defects during development and UAT Stakeholder satisfaction (Business, IT, QA) Successful on‑time deployment of assigned evolutions into production Demonstrate agility in responding to changing business and regulatory needs while maintaining solution quality Proactive contribution of improved ideas that enhance platform usability, efficiency and audit impact Languages English: Fluent (working language) French: Professional proficiency is a plus Why Join Us You will play a key role in shaping a strategic global audit solution, combining deep audit expertise with digital innovation.
