GOAL has an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior fundraising professional to join our fundraising team on a permanent contract. We are keen to hear from individuals with a background in either Trusts and Foundations, Major Gifts, or Legacy Giving who want to work for a progressive, purpose driven organisation.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven track record in a similar senior fundraising role, ideally within the international development or non-profit sector.
  • Proven background of delivering on financial targets and generating revenue
  • Demonstrated success in securing significant income from trusts, foundations, major donors, and corporate partners.
  • Strong proposal writing, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • A proactive networker with an existing portfolio of relevant contacts and relationships (highly desirable).
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate across teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, team working and influencing skills;

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll be joining a dedicated and passionate fundraising team that thrives on collaboration, creativity, and a shared commitment to making a real difference in the world. Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Special Projects, the Senior Fundraising Manager (Philanthropy and Partnerships) plays an integral role in leading GOAL’s fundraising efforts in Ireland. The role will focus on driving income and growth for GOAL in the following areas:

  • Trusts and Foundations
  • Legacy Giving
  • Major Gifts
  • Corporate Partnerships (relationship management of 2 x key corporate partnerships)

Please note GOAL offers staff flexible working with our hybrid model, we require our HQ employees to work 2 days per week from our office in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin
