SENIOR GAME DESIGNER

Hutch is looking for a Senior Game Designer to join the team in London, working on an existing Hutch project. Reporting directly to the Creative Director, you will be responsible for designing levels, game features and mechanics, and gameplay balancing for one of our live games.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong experience with game design in the mobile games industry
  • Strong design mentality and intuition for game mechanics and systems
  • Familiarity with Match-3 mobile games, casual puzzle games and their mechanics (F2P)
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently as part of a small, fast-moving team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration
  • Experience with Unity

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate and drive overall game design and feature development
  • Collaborate with the design team to create new and intuitive Match-3 levels
  • Work with the broader game team of artists, programmers, quality assurance and analysts
  • Look through gameplay data to help address user experience issues
  • Work with and manage external contractors to support development
  • Evolve and iterate on existing features or systems leveraging data insight
