Job Title: Senior Frontend HTML5 Game Developer
Job Type: Permanent / Full-Time
Location: Oxford, UK (Hybrid – 1 day per month onsite)
Salary: £50,000 to £80,000 per annum

MANDATORY SKILLS:

• 5+ years of experience in HTML5 and TypeScript development.
• Strong experience with PixiJS, Phaser, or similar JavaScript gaming/animation frameworks.
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams with excellent communication skills.
• Mobile-first development experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an experienced Frontend Game Developer with a passion for building highly-performant, engaging games? We’re looking for a Senior HTML5 Game Developer to join a dynamic and innovative games team, building interactive casino slot games for both mobile and desktop platforms.
As a key member of the team, you’ll work closely with designers, artists, and developers to deliver immersive gaming experiences that look and perform beautifully across all devices. This is a hybrid role with just 1 day per month required onsite in Oxford.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Develop and maintain high-quality casino slot games using HTML5 and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with creative and engineering teams to ensure deliverables are on time, defect-free, and visually engaging.
• Lead and contribute to architecture discussions, setting the standard for frontend development practices.
• Optimize performance across mobile and desktop environments.
• Act as a mentor to junior developers and advocate for continuous improvement in engineering practices.
