Job Description
CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a talented and passionate Senior Gameplay Designer to join our team and help us develop a new game in the Witcher Saga! If you are ready to take on such a challenge, don’t hesitate and apply! :)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the game industry.
  • Proven success in creating compelling and innovative gameplay mechanics.
  • Experience in working with Unreal Engine 5 - prototyping, implementation and iteration.
  • Experience in designing progression systems, leveling, RPG mechanics, itemisation, reward systems and balancing.
  • Openness to receiving and giving feedback about your work.
  • Creating design documentation for use by different disciplines and teams.
  • Self critical approach, diligence, and ability to process large amounts of data is a plus.
  • Passion for RPG games of all kinds is a plus.
  • Openness for changes & experimentation and a good sense of humor are appreciated!

Responsibilities
  • Proposing and documenting an innovative design for systems and features that follows the game direction.
  • Iterating and improving documentation for existing systems and features.
  • Designing, iterating and balancing features and systems using a Unreal Engine 5.
  • Working in multidisciplinary teams on prototyping and implementing stages, ensuring that the progression mechanics are implemented with desired quality
  • Taking ownership of specific features/systems of the game.
  • Working with data to provide engaging progression experience for the players.
