Job Description CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior Gameplay Engineer - Combat to join our team to work on Project Sirius - a multiplayer game set in The Witcher universe. In this role you will collaborate with our team working in Unreal Engine 5 to build new mechanics and features to generate compelling gameplay. You’ll be in charge of defining, building, and maintaining the core system of character ability management. Daily Responsibilities: Work closely with designers and animators to fulfill the vision of the game Build and maintain solid and flexible gameplay systems that work in both singleplayer and multiplayer. Write high-quality code that is optimized, bug-free, and aligned with project goals. Qualifications At least 10 years of professional experience as a programmer within the games industry. Proficiency in C++ programming and knowledge of Unreal Engine. Ability to think creatively and strategically to overcome technical challenges and drive innovation in technology. Extensive multiplayer experience. Knowledge of game engine architecture and algorithms. Thorough multi-threaded programming skills. Excellent communication skills: We have a multilingual and multicultural working environment and the ability to communicate across language and time zone barriers is essential. Estimated pay range for this position: $118,800 - $198,000 USD annually At CD PROJEKT RED compensation for our roles in North America are determined based on competitive market data, geographic location, and individual factors tied to business needs.
