Job Title Senior General Manager - Operations Reporting To CTO Location Gangaikondan Grade/ Level 3B Job Objective To provide strategic leadership and overall direction for plant/operations, ensuring high performance in production, quality, cost control, safety, and continuous improvement aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities KPIs 1) * Lead end-to-end plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain. * Define and execute operational strategies to achieve business objectives. * Drive production planning, capacity utilization, and operational efficiency. 2) * Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance. * Oversee cost optimization initiatives and budget management. * Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices. 3) * Monitor KPIs and drive performance improvements across departments. * Collaborate with top management on expansion, new projects, and investments. * Ensure a strong safety culture and compliance with EHS standards. 4) * Lead large teams, including department heads and middle management. * Drive automation, digital transformation, and process innovation. * Bachelor’s Degree (Mechanical / Electrical / Production/ Arts & Science) SECTION VI: ROLE PROFILE REQUIREMENTS Education Experience * 15 to 22+ years in manufacturing/operations * 5–8 years in senior leadership roles * Experience in solar / heavy manufacturing industry preferred Competencies CORE COMPETENCIES LEADERSHIP/ BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES * Strategic leadership * Business acumen * Operational excellence * Leadership & people development * Strong communication and influencing skills * Change and stakeholder management
