Brixton Metals Corporation is a publicly traded (TSXV: BBB) (OCTQB: BBBXF), Canadian mineral exploration company focused on the advancement of its copper-gold-silver exploration projects. Brixton wholly owns four exploration projects in BC, Ontario and Montana.
Our team is seeking a Full-Time Senior Geologist reporting directly to the Exploration Manager.

The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Geologist include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and increase the understanding of the exploration projects.
  • Participate in drill hole and development planning.
  • Interpretation of all geological data-sets and geochemical analysis.
  • Collaborate with team members on target generation and ranking exploration priorities.
  • Collaborate with team members to assist with data management requirements across various projects.
  • Program planning as it relates to design, budget and execution of field exploration programs (geochemistry, geophysical surveys).
  • Work with other geologists in the completion of computerized mapping and models.
  • Manage and provide technical support to field exploration staff.
  • Prepare and update the drill hole database, daily geology reports, and other records (including Assessment Reports).
  • Train and lead mid-level to junior geologists.
  • Conduct surface geological mapping and geochemical sampling.
  • Assist in the preparation of maps, promotional materials and corporate and technical presentations.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
  • Demonstrate awareness and commitment to health, safety, community and environmental protection in keeping with Company goals and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.Sc. Degree in Geological Sciences or Equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in mineral exploration with experience in porphyry and epithermal systems.
  • Experience with GIS and Microsoft software.
  • Previous experience supporting drill programs.
  • Professional registration with P.Geo designation in good standing is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Leapfrog and ioGAS software is considered an asset.
  • Obtain and maintain Mine Manager certification (British Columbia).
