About the Opportunity Westgold is seeking a driven and technically strong Senior Geologist – Resource Definition to lead drilling programs, grow resources, and play a key role in shaping Life of Mine outcomes. This is a leadership role offering the chance to influence operational success while mentoring and developing a high-performing geology team. What You’ll Be Doing Lead and supervise resource definition drilling, logging, and QAQC processes Manage and mentor geologists, graduates, and technicians Plan and coordinate drilling programs aligned with Life of Mine strategies Analyse and interpret geological data to support resource growth and optimisation Collaborate closely with mining and technical teams to deliver production outcomes Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective geological operations What You’ll Bring 7+ years’ experience in mining geology (gold experience preferred) Demonstrated leadership experience within a production environment Strong technical capability across drilling, data management, and geological interpretation Experience with Surpac, Leapfrog, and QAQC processes Ability to influence, communicate, and drive performance across multidisciplinary teams Why Westgold?
