POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a visionary and highly skilled Senior Geophysical Signal Processing Engineer to lead the enhancement of signal processing methodologies for our VTEM systems. This senior role requires expertise in geophysics and advanced signal processing to push the boundaries of subsurface exploration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and optimization of signal processing techniques for VTEM systems.
  • Design and implement advanced algorithms for stacking, filtering, and noise reduction.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve data acquisition, processing, and interpretation workflows.
  • Ensure high-quality outputs for geophysical surveys and contribute to system-level improvements.
  • Mentor and support the technical team in adopting innovative processing techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Geophysics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in geophysical systems, preferably in airborne EM technologies.
  • Expertise in signal processing techniques such as stacking, filtering, and noise mitigation.
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., MATLAB, Python, or C++) for algorithm development.
  • Proven leadership in geophysical data processing and system optimization.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with VTEM or similar airborne EM systems.
  • Knowledge of advanced techniques like adaptive stacking and filtering is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
