Responsibilities
  • Considerable experience as a Development/Production Geologist / Geophysicist with a broad range of experience gained from working for an Operator on a range of assets from select/define through to project execution, with exposure to mature field redevelopment and reservoir surveillance;
  • Mastery of geoscience skills required for resource estimation (Prospective Resources to Reserves);
  • Advanced geomodelling skills (preferably using Petrel), and ability to quickly identify “industry best practice” in geomodelling;
  • Ability to work independently, but also to deliver as part of a team;
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of petroleum geosciences, including seismic interpretation, petrophysical analysis and reservoir engineering principles;
  • Experience of working in the “consultancy environment” would be a benefit;
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
