It's data and research with impact you can see.   In this role, you'll:   Lead geospatial analysis and mapping capability to deliver trusted spatial insights that support strategic and operational decision making.This role will see you develop, maintain and analyse geospatial datasets and products, producing clear mapping and visual tools that help stakeholders understand impacts, risks and opportunities.You will make a tangible difference by enabling situational awareness and informed responses during planning, disruption and emergency events across the transport network.For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description and information pack.   About you   You bring tertiary qualifications in Geographic Information Systems or a related discipline, along with the ability to support security, crisis and emergency incidents through on‑call availability in a 24/7 operating environment.You have demonstrated experience in geospatial analysis, spatial data management and visualisation, with strong knowledge of geospatial tools and datasets gained through senior GIS or spatial analysis roles. Your analytical and problem‑solving capability will see you deliver accurate, meaningful insights that inform high‑impact decisions.You’re recognised for your technical credibility, skilled at providing expert advice and guiding others to apply geospatial insights effectively across complex business contexts.   Who we are   Transport for NSW provides a safe, integrated, and efficient transport system.
