Responsibilities

WHAT WILL I BE DOING IN MY NEW ROLE?

  • Primary control establishment & densification to industry best practice.
  • Construction setting out with GNSS & Total Station.
  • Volume surveys.
  • Validation surveys with GNSS, Total Station & Laser Scanning.
  • Prepare and analyse data for set-out for yourself and others.
  • Utilise modern survey methods and instrumentation such as Total Stations, GNSS, UAV, HDS, imaging tools, GPS, data collectors.
  • Record surveying information accurately and consistently on site to the agreed specification and scope
  • Perform detailed report writing and data representation.
  • Utilisation of post processing software such as AutoCAD, StarNet and Leica Cyclone
  • Delivering instructions and training/developments to junior members of the team.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and various stakeholders, ensuring we deliver projects to exact customer requirements.
  • Any other duties as required by the project scope.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

  • Have relevant qualifications (Surveying, Geomatics or Engineering) and/or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Fundamental knowledge of the principles and practices of surveying and geospatial engineering, especially control networks.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
  • Understand scopes of work and project requirements.
  • Have strong knowledge of current CAD technology.
  • Experience working in infrastructure and construction.
  • Experience with HD Laser Scanning technology and software (desired but not essential).
  • Experience with machine control (desired but not essential).
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Possess a full clean German / International Drivers’ licence
  • The right to work in the Germany.
