POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are recruiting for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to help grow and lead their Toronto-based operations. This is a technical and client-facing role with a balance of report writing, field investigation coordination, and business development involvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Geotechnical, Civil Engineering, or related.
• P.Eng. or P.Geo. required (must be licensed in Ontario).
• 8–10 years of hands-on geotechnical experience.
• Familiarity with Ontario soils and subsurface conditions.
• Strong project management, communication, and mentorship capabilities.
• Valid driver’s license and availability to travel to job sites.

• Plan and oversee geotechnical investigations for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
• Prepare geotechnical reports with recommendations for foundations, site grading, retaining structures, and more.
• Lead field activities, manage sub-consultants, and support junior staff development.
• Review and approve lab testing data.
• Liaise with clients and support proposal preparation and project scoping.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with engineering standards.
