SENIOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER – TEAM LEAD (PE-CERTIFIED)

Based in the Eastern/Midwestern U.S. | Minimal Travel | Full-Time | Leadership Role
A respected, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with nearly a century of success is searching for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer (P.E.) to lead key projects and mentor a growing Geotech team.
You’ll be central to major infrastructure and aviation builds—guiding everything from field investigation to final soil reporting—while enjoying stable, local work and a supportive leadership environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead geotechnical explorations, slope stability assessments, and subsurface investigations
• Oversee and produce detailed soil and subsurface investigation reports
• Supervise lab operations, quality control, and junior engineering staff
• Plan and direct field assignments, ensuring test accuracy and reporting clarity
• Engage with clients and project teams throughout each project lifecycle
• Support technical proposal writing and collaborate on budget/timeline tracking
• Analyze and design retaining systems, foundations, and anchoring methods
• Uphold all QA/QC, regulatory, and safety standards
