Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Site Supervision) to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and on-site supervision for geotechnical investigations, foundation design, and ground improvement projects. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with engineering standards, managing site operations, and delivering high-quality geotechnical solutions that meet project specifications and safety requirements. Supervise and coordinate geotechnical site investigations, including soil boring, sampling, and in-situ testing activities Analyze soil and rock properties to assess foundation design requirements and ground stability conditions Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, recommendations, and technical documentation for project stakeholders Implement and monitor quality assurance and quality control procedures on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications Manage site safety protocols and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and best practices Collaborate with project managers, structural engineers, and contractors to resolve geotechnical challenges and optimize construction solutions Conduct field inspections and testing to verify soil conditions, foundation construction, and ground improvement work Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff and site personnel Evaluate geotechnical data using industry-standard software and analytical tools to support design decisions Maintain organized project records, test results, and documentation for regulatory and contractual compliance Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to project teams and clients in a professional manner Qualifications Minimum 10 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering with at least 5 years in site supervision and field operations Strong expertise in soil mechanics, foundation design, and ground improvement techniques Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software and modeling tools Demonstrated knowledge of geotechnical testing methods and laboratory procedures Experience managing geotechnical investigations and site characterization programs Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail Proven leadership experience supervising technical teams and site personnel Familiarity with international and local building codes, particularly Saudi Arabian construction standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Proficiency in preparing technical reports and geotechnical documentation Experience with construction site coordination and contractor management Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices Preferred: Experience working on projects in the Middle East or Gulf region Preferred: Advanced proficiency in geotechnical software applications and CAD programs Preferred: Experience with foundation quality assurance and verification testing Business Line: Energy and Sustainable Cities Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: Architecture Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Site supervision
