Tetra Tech is a pioneer in cold-regions geotechnical engineering, and we have maintained our strong northern reputation for over 50 years. We take pride our practical northern experience and can boast many northern pioneers and experts. Although we are proud of this history, we are focused on what we can do now, the long-term decisions we can make for the continual improvement of our technical contributions, and the mentoring of our promising up-and-coming engineers, scientists, and technicians. Our teams are involved with more than geotechnical engineering and are required to provide practical, innovative solutions for our clients in remote locations.
Tetra Tech is currently looking to hire a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Arctic Engineering Group. The group is based out of Edmonton, but remote working arrangements are available. The team member also has the option of working out of any of our Canadian offices. We recognize that many candidates will not have northern or permafrost experience and this is not a requirement. What is important is that the individual has strong geotechnical skills and is ready to take on a new challenge with a dynamic, knowledgeable, and supportive team. There is a broad range of projects to choose from and we have a long list of work available, including many long-term clients that bring stability and the opportunity to innovate. We have over 50 dedicated staff on Arctic projects, not including support staff across other disciplines like transportation, environment, solid waste, and civil engineering. Tetra Tech provides a multitude of services relating to cold regions or permafrost basis: water control structures (i.e., dams, dykes, diversion features), foundations, mining infrastructure, reclamation and closure, transportation infrastructure, geophysics, and ice/frozen covers engineering. These services are offered by the many specialists in Tetra Tech. In short, we would like to offer you an opportunity to work with world-class engineers dedicated to working on geotechnical engineering projects.

QUALIFICATIONS THAT WOULD MAKE YOU A GREAT CANDIDATE:
