We’re growing our Geospatial team and are looking for a Senior GIS Consultant to play a key role in delivering innovative, data-driven outcomes across a diverse project portfolio. What you’ll do As a Senior GIS Consultant, you’ll bring both technical expertise and commercial acumen, contributing to complex projects while supporting the growth of our Geospatial capability.   You will: * Deliver high-quality GIS outputs, including mapping, spatial analysis, and data management solutions * Provide technical leadership across a range of projects, ensuring quality and client outcomes * Manage and deliver projects – including scope, cost, risk, and program * Contribute to and support tenders, proposals, and business development initiatives * Work with enterprise GIS systems, scripting, and spatial applications * Build strong client relationships and maintain a trusted advisor status * Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability uplift within the team About you You’re a technically strong GIS professional who is equally comfortable delivering complex work and engaging with clients and stakeholders.   You will bring: * 5–10 years’ experience in GIS consulting or a related field * A degree in GIS or an equivalent discipline * Strong skills in platforms such as ESRI, MapInfo, FME, and spatial data environments * Experience in managing multiple projects of varying scale and complexity * Exposure to scripting or application development (Python or similar preferred) * Proven ability to deliver high-quality technical outputs and reports * Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability * A proactive approach to business development and client engagement What you’ll love about WSP At WSP, we put our people first.
