To be successful in this demanding role, you will bring a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or higher, and a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in procurement and sourcing, with a focus on projects contracting, any EPC, EPCM, DB experience is advantageous.   • Proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional procurement activities and implementing strategic sourcing strategies.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills coupled with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, business acumen, and ability to foster collaborative supplier relationship.

Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional European languages or Hebrew is advantageous.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our new Senior Global Sourcing Manager – Indirect Contracts, you will oversee the procurement of indirect services, leading strategic sourcing activities within the Contractors Category including Projects and MRO, across Israel and European countries. You will be working in a team of Sourcing Managers and Operational Buyers in this sub-category, reporting to the Head of Indirect Contractors and Energy

Your main tasks are to lead and direct strategic sourcing initiatives for the Contractors sub-categories, aiming for significant cost reductions while enhancing service quality and vendor relationships. You will drive sourcing activities for critical service contracts related to maintenance & operations and CAPEX projects & engineering activities. In more detail, you will:

  • Contribute Value Engineering initiatives to optimize project efficiencies and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify, assess, and select suppliers, negotiating and finalizing framework agreements for global and EU region services within the Contractors sub-category.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to optimize product demand across ICL.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of suppliers, markets, and emerging trends within the Contractors sub-category.
  • Establish and cultivate strong global/regional supplier relationships to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence.
  • Monitor supplier performance and enforce compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Resolve operational issues and provide strategic guidance to regional and local procurement teams.

This role may in future oversee and manage a team of Buyers, providing guidance and support.
