EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:

• 6+ years of developing, maintaining, and designing scalable, cloud-native software in object-oriented programming languages.
• 6+ years of experience with RESTful services, Swagger, Json data interchange, and GIT.
• 6+ years of experience in technical analysis, design, and development.
• 6+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data, as well as discussing business and technical topics.
• 2+ years of experience in Go (Golang) programming.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience.

EXPERIENCE THAT WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE:

• Experience in the design and development of high throughput microservices.
• Direct experience with Core Banking processes, architecture, and software development.
• Firsthand financial industry experience in software application development for payments networks (ACH, Fedwire, RTP), card processing, Information Technology, loan servicing, deposit operations, and CRM systems is great to have.
• Experience working in financial technology, financial services, or the financial industry.
• Ability to multitask and change direction in an ever-changing environment.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

Finxact, a Fiserv Company, brings innovation at the core of banking and provides a next generation core platform. Our mission is to redefine core processing, and our commitment is to be the best at what we do. You will be working in an application design and development role on the Core-as-a-Service platform. You will be creating new software and enhancing existing software to provide banking and financial institution services.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Develop new APIs and microservices to support a wide range of needs for various financial institutions.
• Work with business analysts, engineers, and other system users to understand and implement their application requirements.
• Collaborate with partners to understand their implementations and gain a breadth of knowledge in cloud-based SaaS implementations and technologies.
• Develop quality software, improve test coverage and the overall quality of the systems.
• Provide leadership to other developers on the team and assist them in designing solutions, understanding the principles of financial services software and programming best practices.
