As a Senior Governance and Compliance Support Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our services are safe, person-centred, and fully aligned with contractual and regulatory standards. You will provide senior-level oversight of governance frameworks, contract compliance, and safeguarding across designated services, ensuring outcomes for people remain at the heart of our work.
You will act as a key link between our organisation, commissioners, regulators, and service managers — providing assurance that contractual obligations are met while supporting a culture of learning and accountability. As the appointed Safeguarding Lead for specific contracts, you will provide expert guidance on safeguarding practice, oversee incident management, and liaise with statutory agencies where required.
This role requires both a hands-on approach (auditing, policy oversight, compliance checks) and a strategic outlook (governance reporting, risk escalation, commissioner liaison). By embedding best practice in governance and compliance, you will ensure that services remain inspection-ready and contractually robust while keeping people’s safety, dignity, and wellbeing central.
