About the role
Tasman Butchers is one of Victoria's largest independent butchers, with 9 stores across metropolitan Melbourne. We are seeking a creative and organised Graphic Designer / Marketing Co-ordinator to join our marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this hands-on role is ideal for a recent graduate or emerging creative professional looking to develop their skills across graphic design, content creation and retail marketing.
Key responsibilities
- Create and deliver marketing materials across print, digital and in-store channels
- Design promotional artwork, signage, social media assets and branded content
- Create and manage website assets, imagery and promotional content
- Create, manage and schedule social media content across relevant platforms
- Manage influencer partnerships and coordinate collaborations where required
- Liaise with external stakeholders, suppliers and creative partners to support marketing initiatives
- Support marketing campaigns from concept development through to execution
- Maintain brand consistency across all customer touchpoints
About you
- A relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to bring creative ideas to life
- Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Confidence working independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Understanding of brand guidelines and the ability to interpret creative briefs
- Experience in content creation, including photography, video or short-form digital content, is highly regarded
- An interest in food, retail and consumer trends
- Previous retail, grocery or FMCG experience is advantageous but not essential

What you'll be doing
This is a hands-on senior creative role where no two days are the same. You'll:
- Design and deliver high-quality creative assets across digital, print, social media, video and multimedia channels.
- Develop engaging campaigns, presentations, thought leadership materials, reports, event collateral, email communications, infographics and website content.
- Create and edit video content, motion graphics, animations and short-form multimedia content that captures attention and tells compelling stories.
- Translate complex concepts and business information into clear, visually engaging communications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, as well as external agencies, developers, videographers and creative partners.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and quality.
- Help evolve and strengthen Prime's visual identity and brand standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve creative processes, templates and brand assets.
- Provide guidance, mentoring and creative support to junior designers when required.
What you'll bring
You're a confident and commercially minded creative who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
You'll ideally have:
- 5+ years' experience in graphic design, branding, creative services or marketing environments.
- Advanced skills across Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Strong experience in video production, editing, motion graphics and animation.
- A keen eye for branding, typography, layout, visual storytelling and design trends.
- Experience creating content across websites, social media, email marketing and digital advertising channels.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to present and explain creative concepts.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for sharing knowledge and mentoring others.
Highly regarded :
Experience using Figma and other digital design tools.
Knowledge of WordPress, Webflow or UI/UX design principles.
Experience working within professional services, financial services or corporate environments.
