By delivering new school building, major upgrades and maintenance, it ensures students across all ages have access to high-quality education and facilities.     About the role   As the Senior Group leader, you will be leading a team of 18 to deliver capital works and asset management across 300 schools within the South-West region. This critical role directly impacts student outcomes by ensuring well-maintained and safe learning environment.   Your responsibilities: Manage budgets, coordinate contractors and support schools during emergencies such as floors and fires. Build and maintain strong partnerships with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth deliver of projects and programs Develop and enhance team capability through professional development plans and mentorship.     For further information please click here to view the role description   About you   As a Senior Group Leader, you will bring proven experience delivering complex projects and capital programs, demonstrating your ability to plan, manage and deliver high-quality asset outcomes. You are an effective leader who drives team performance and continuous improvement in the delivery of programs for NSW schools.   You will also demonstrate: High-level of attention to detail with effective time management and organisational skills Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with ability to provide informed advice and solution Experienced in financial planning, budget management and facilities management policies. Knowledge and experience using project management systems and Microsoft applications.   Key knowledge and experience Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.   Essential requirements of the role  Current and valid driver’s licence.
