Overview Senior Group Reporting Manager Location: Windsor/Hybrid We are the global manufacturer of advanced carbon and ceramic materials for complex and technologically demanding applications. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Senior Group Reporting Manager is a key role in developing and delivering the group’s external reporting. The role will be a key point of contact for the wider finance community within the business as well as the Group tax, FP&A and treasury teams. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include: Oversee the monthly consolidation of the Group, review consolidation journals prepared by members of the team and a key point of contact for queries from the local finance teams. Assist in the planning of half year and year process and acting as a key point of contact for auditor the external auditors. Researching and drafting accounting memos on technical areas of accounting. Assist in the preparation of audit committee papers. Supporting in updating group accounting policies and providing training to local teams. Collaborate with the systems team on changes to the system for new accounting requirements and process improvements. Building strong relationships with the Group tax, treasury and FP&A teams. Assisting in the accounting for the group’s share based payment schemes. Assist in the annual impairment review process. Working as part of a wider team to deliver the annual report. Qualifications Experience and background: Technically qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) trained in practice with a top tier firm. Experience of half year and year end reporting in a listed group. Experience of multi-currency consolidations. Experience in using consolidation systems. Experience of being a key point of contact for auditors Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders Strong project management skills.
