Senior Hair Stylist Urgently Needed - Full-Time
Flicks Hair and Beauty is a full-service hair salon in Glasgow. We are a growing salon looking for a hairstylist to join our team. We are looking for someone interested in growing with the company and excited about their future.
Due to staff changes, we urgently need a Full-Time Hairdresser / Hair Stylist to come and join us and can start immediately on an Employed basis.
Very Good hourly rate of pay.
Duties:
- Provide a wide range of hair styling services to clients, including cutting, colouring, and styling
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling
- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and preferences
- Offer recommendations on suitable hairstyles and treatments based on clients’ hair type and face shape
- Perform makeup application services for special occasions or events
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction
- Manage the front desk, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and handling payments
- Upsell salon products and services to clients
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Salon management experience is preferred but not essential.
The salon has been established for 15 years. Our ideal candidate is someone who really loves what they do and is driven to do more and go the extra mile for clients.

Must be confident in all aspects of hairdressing

• Cutting / Blowdrying / Hair-ups / Curls
• Colouring / Ombre / Baylage / Foils / Root tints / all aspects of colour
• Gents
• Hair Extensions (Not a Must)

The ideal person must be flexible and be able to commit to at least one late night a week (Wednesday or Thursday), as well as weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
