Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Hardware Design Engineer, you will work as part of an expert team of hard- and software developers on battery management systems which are among the world-leading ones regarding safety, features, and costs. Your field of responsibility is the hardware development of components for battery applications. You will implement the overall technical concept with the system lead engineer and the safety manager and report directly to the Electronics Management. You add to our existing battery management expertise with your experience and proficiency in the fields of circuit technology analog and digital, PCB layout, EMC, and circuit design. You will have a decisive influence on the technical concepts of our future battery management systems through your work.

YOUR FUTURE TASKS AT A GLANCE

  • Design Responsibility for Circuit Components and/or complete PCBAs and ownership of the release process.
  • Component selection, and supplier communication during the development, creation, and maintenance of component libraries.
  • Circuit design in Altium Designer.
  • Design analysis and documentation, including HW Safety Work Packages according to requirements from Customer and ME internal.
  • Design, execution, and analysis of engineering, validation, and production tests and test equipment in coordination with other departments.
