About This Role This Hardware Engineering role will support all hardware engineering activities, both electrical and mechanical systems, associated with CAE’s through-life support contracts, upgrades and installation projects. The role will include defining or updated CAD drawings and wiring schematics used for simulator computer systems, computer racks, cockpit and simulated avionic interfaces plus any other peripheral equipment. The role we are offering you Development of simulation hardware solutions for assigned tasks Production of all relevant documents Assisting in deployment of product at a customer site Integration and verification of the hardware components Provide support for hardware interface changes both on and off-site Our ideal candidate has: Ideally holds a degree or certification with a relevant hardware/engineering domain (or equivalent work experience) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Proven functional expertise in hardware & electrical engineering principles A background in aviation, flight simulation and/or defence is a bonus Location: Homebush, NSW We operate a hybrid working approach.
