Position Overview: The EMEALA (EMEA and Latin America) HCM team is made up of generalist HCM professionals who support the business through the full employee lifecycle. The team is highly collaborative, working closely together to deliver considered, high-quality HCM support and guidance. This is a senior and visible role within the team. The successful candidate will complement the Head of Human Capital Management and the other Senior HCM Business Partner, while also providing mentorship and direction to junior team members. Primary Responsibilities: General Serve as a trusted advisor to the Operating Platform, Fixed Income and Equities businesses on people and talent-related strategies Execute key people development processes including performance reviews, talent management, year-end compensation, advancement and diversity Play a key role in the effective day-to-day delivery of HCM support, including ad hoc requests, new hires, terminations, and data and reporting Contribute to strategic HCM projects and continuously seek opportunities to improve current practices Ensure HCM policies are maintained and updated in line with legislative or firmwide changes Partner with functional HCM colleagues to ensure effective delivery across all HCM disciplines including recruiting, learning, global mobility, employee relations and benefits Work closely with the two HCM Associates within the team to sign off contracts, termination letters and Workday approvals linked to your business area Compensation and Benefits Maintain and apply a strong working knowledge of the regulatory environment as it pertains to compensation Advise senior management on appropriate compensation strategies for the business Administer year-end compensation processes involving both discretionary and formulaic structures Utilise market data effectively, including tools such as McLagan Recruitment Work closely with the Head of Recruitment for EMEA and LatAm to ensure a thorough understanding of open positions and business requirements Advise on compensation and levelling for new hires to ensure consistency across the business Provide support to the recruitment function during periods of absence Review and sign off all contracts of employment for new hires created by the HCM Associates Employee Relations Provide timely, clear and pragmatic advice to managers and employees on a range of matters Handle sensitive and complex employee issues with discretion, sound judgement and a commercial mindset Learning and Development Proactively identify learning and development needs across client groups and deliver effective strategies and solutions Provide coaching for team members where appropriate Projects Serve as HCM lead for the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR), overseeing implementation and ongoing adherence Serve as HCM lead for F&P Ireland, overseeing implementation and ongoing adherence Lead and contribute to broader HCM projects including office openings, regulatory initiatives and wellness programmes, ensuring delivery against objectives, timelines and stakeholder expectations Key Requirements / Qualifications: (essential unless otherwise stated) 15+ years of HR experience, ideally within Asset Management or Financial Services CIPD qualification preferred Technical Skills Strong generalist HR background with a proven track record of delivering high-quality support to a demanding client base Extensive experience engaging with and advising senior stakeholders Exposure to regional offices outside of the UK is essential Workday experience preferred Interpersonal Skills A genuine team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable operating with autonomy and navigating situations that require judgement over process Flexible and composed under pressure, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively Proactive and solutions-oriented in approach Highly analytical with a rigorous approach to accuracy and detail Able to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion Inquisitive, and confident in respectfully challenging the status quo #LI-NM1 #LI-Hybrid Neuberger is an equal opportunity employer.
