OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Safety Consultant to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programmes for our clients that ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. You will work closely with our clients’ teams to promote a culture of safety within their organisation, aiming to minimise risks and enhance workplace safety standards.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
  • Experience in delivering training is required.
  • Demonstrated ability in report writing, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation techniques is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Level 6 qualified in Health and Safety
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience of delivering health and safety training and consultancy
  • Someone wanting to progress to a leadership position within the company
  • Good IT skills
  • Good people skills
  • MIIRSM or similar membership would be desirable
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel, including overnight as required
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Eligibility to work in UK essential (no visa licence and no relocation package)
